Heidenhain TNC426PB & TNCremoNT connection problem | |
Hello everyone.
I have a connection problem with a TCN426PB (Deckel Maho DMU70V) and TNCremoNT running on a laptop.
The problem is simple. I try to connect to the TNC but I get an error - 20001608h No response from TNC
The RS232 cable is ok as I used it in the past and it was working with the same machine but different computer. I tried 3 computers but same problem.
I made a new cable and again the same thing.
I connected an osciloscope on the serial port to see what is happening and I saw that data from the pc go to the TNC but the TNC NEVER sends anything back.
I tried all combinations of baud rated and settings. I even tryied to send data to the computer in FE mode seeing the data on a terminal yet again the TNC sends absolutely nothing to the pc.
About a year ago a computer was connected to that specific TNC everything was fine and it did not really need any settings or anything.
Does anyone have any idea what mey be wrong?
What should I try??
