Okay, I have a Record 220 SCM router... It has a Num 1040 controller with looks like the original terminal computer which has a win3.11 and hardware architecture to match... It uses a FIPs card for connecting the Controller... When I had talked to the Manufacter regarding an error and getting info for reloading Logic sets to the Controller he mentioned something about an upgrade I enquiried further to find out they sold an updated computer with the software for an XP based machine... Now the Issues are this... The New machine is setup to use the Serial Port... The Controller has been told to use the Serial Port and SCM wants me to send it back to them fix it... 3 days anyone know of any other work arounds for a Fip type of controller etc?  |
