Plugged But Will Not Play! | | Hi all,
I bought a PCI plug and play parallel port yesterday to give me more pins for a new cnc router I am working on. Anyway I fitted the board and booted up my PC (win XP pro) expecting all too simply install and be up and running, but no as usual PC wants me to spend hours pulling my hair out trying to get things working.
Before I bought the board I did notice on the website in frequently asked questions for this, that it clamed it would work with native XP drivers but no could not fined a driver.
So installed driver from provided floppy disk (XP did not like the driver but installed anyway, could not fined an updated driver on the net).
Now in device manager it is telling me that there is not enough resource for this drive.
Could some one PLEASE explain to me what I should have done to install this port correctly?
Unfortunately I do not have hours to spend pulling my hair out trying to get this thing working and help would be very much appreciated.
