| Laff Riot, Spray Foam... at least thats the idea. Someday I hope to carve foam for marine applications. I have some goofy ideas about hydrofoils and have been dreaming about doing something for years. The computer case the guy posted was of hand carved packing foam. I am juiced to carve shapes and foam would be the fastest... |

| One of my suppliers, Industrial Polymers has some stuff you need to look at. I highly recommend this company. http://www.industrialpolymers.com Check out thier expanding hydrospan. " When parts cast from HydroSpan™ are soaked in water they accurately increase in size 60%. By making larger silicone molds from the expanded HydroSpan™ , you can produce a series of progressively larger molds. " For minimum investment you can create small scale master parts - scale them up - then use there spray foam series for the final.

| Thanks for posting the site! A new source other than smooth-on, replicast, etc. Hopefully they sell small batch sizes in all their products. Thanks heaps - cheers, Jim |
