I am trying to get my laptop to accept a wireless internet connection. The laptop has wifi. I currently have time warner modem model sbv5222 for my desktop. I have purchase a router brand name (Netgear WNDR 3800N600). My concern is that I am not sure this is the correct router. After puchasing it I have found out that it accepts 4 g modems. I have tried to find out if my carrier (timewarner) modem will work with the router but I am more confuse now then I was before I checked with them. Can anyone let me know if this router will allow be to go wireless with my laptop? Thanks |
