Toshiba Satelite 15/Windows XP Media Center Edition version 2002 sp2; IE got corrupted; won't do a Sys Restore; Downloaded IE 5/5.5/6./7./8; couldn't install neither one because the setup wants to connect to Internet. Toshiba does not support any more those old Laptops. Can any one tell me how to fix this problem.  |

| Quick answer - re-install windows and restore from your back ups  If it's just a case of connecting to the net can't you get a friend to download firefox or the like, then use firefox to instell ie? |
