touch screen monitor

We have a schechtl at our company and the touch screen went out. My question is, can we just get a POS monitor or any other touch screen monitor, or does it have to be cnc capable, meaning be able to draw lines. Because we can buy a POS touch screen for 200 rather than buy a cnc capable monitor.

Just make sure you check the specs carefully, because many (most?) inexpensive touch screens ONLY support Win7 and Vista.
