Looking for a little help please. | | Hello everyone,
I'm looking for some help connecting a computer to our company CNC equipment,
I'm working with a Haas VF-3, using a 9 pin to 25 pin rs232 cable (its null modem assuming I got the soldering right :S ),
I have NCnet Lite from Cadem (I tried connectCNC first and it didn't work).
I'm the IT person here so I don't know that much about CNC stuff. Drip feed would be nice but isn't high on the priority list at the moment the computer is configured as such
baud rate :9400
Parity: even
Data bits:7
Stop bits: 2
Hand shake: software
So my question is, did I forget something? How do I set the parameters on the CNC side? and a pin out for the cable I need (does the 9 pin side need any jumpering?)
Thanks ~ TFG |
