    Program portability

I am new to this so bear with me. I want to do the Cad-Cam work on my main computer and then save to disk. Then I want to take it to my workshop in the garage and run it on a laptop there. The laptop will have Mach2 installed on it. Is this possible or am I just way ahead of myself?

after the CAM pass inside to get your G-code you should be able to take it to the controller computer, The only issue is the size of the file and your transfer mechanism.
