Does the G101 come with the Rabbit processor? Hard to tell from the website, but I don't think so. That's part of the $200 price difference. So you probably need to add another $100 or so.

    Hello all,
I am very much a noob here, been reading for weeks and learning lots. My question is, is there really a good usb controller or are the ones listed here hard to use or unrealiable?

Make sure you get one that is bi directional. In other words, make sure it is EPP or it will not work. I feel better using it instead of the internal port of a Laptop cuz, I would rather replace the cable than a laptop motherboard.

    Hey ljogwin,

What is the brand of usb you are running. Im really keen to throw away my parallel cable. Plus it would be nice to go from CAD/CAM straight to the machine all on the same computer.
