Nitronic 60 replacements? | |
I've got a job that requires Nitronic 60 (UNS S21800) for a screw with some added requirements: Cold Reduced with Min Yield Strength: 130Ksi and Min elongation of 25%.
The mills and vendors I've talked to say that cold reducing you can get the Yield strength however you go below 25% elongation, so I wanted to offer my buyer an alternative material, that still meets those mechanical requirements, and is somewhat similar to Nitronic 60.
The parts are ~.375" Dia x 1.5" Lg.
