    Rainbow Wood?

Does anyone know where one can purchase this stuff that I think is called 'Rainbow Wood' in a raw uncut form. I kept running into it in kitchen stores while xmas shoping. Here is an example of what I'm talking about.

It's also used in Rifle stocks alot, they call it laminate. I've seen lots of different color schemes.

    Found it, ordered it, waiting...

Rutply was a good source. Very friendly and informative. They sell custum layups of various thicknesses and even have this simple windows program that you can download to verify your color pattern. I ordered some.

    Thanks Mike, or Turmite.

Please tell us how it works out!

I looked into this a while ago, but held off due to issues with thier not being able to hold thickness tolerances. I will expect I will re-start that project at some point, and just have a CNC machine make a facing pass.

www.Leevalleytools.com has Dymondwood listed under "exotic" woods.
