Its "Greek", text used as a placeholder. The About Us apparently has never been set up.
I've been looking around for a 6040 CNC router and I found that Carving-CNC has a USB upgrade option. The site is english, but the "about us" section is in some strange language.
http://www.carving-cnc.com/
If not, can someone help me find another source?
Thanks,
Kev

More stuff made in China, they are based in Beijing.
first thing you do it throw away the YOOCNC stuff and get something that will work
Where do you read that there is a USB upgrade option ?
I can't find it anywhere.

You are quoting me on something from over a year ago.
I have ... and there a bunch a pricks!
I have a 6040 cnc router and I got everything to work no thanks to these *******s
If you have any questions about the YOOCNC stepper driver or breakout board (jumper, dip switches, etc.) they won't answer your questions! Took me an hour or two to figure out what microstepping was on the stepper drivers. Of course it didn't help that the directions lead you to believe it's 1/10th when it was really 1/8th (1,2,8,16) ... where they got 1/10th is beyond me for the settings in mm's
Basically, their electronics are second rate! To bad you can't buy just the machine only because you end up ripping their unshielded wiring and electronics out and replacing them with quality products from either Kelinginc or Gecko! Keep the machine and resell the "Box of Junk" is how they should list it!
I am thinking of buying this machine to be able to make simple pieces out of aluminium.
OK, I know it's Chinese, so a lot of you would immediately say it's not good.
But I am limited very much with a budget and this looks like a good thing to me.
So can you please tell me why do you think it's not good. If you say that they use unshielded cable, can you tell me what could go wrong because of that ?
Thanks for any help..
well here is my thread on the troubles i had
build costs?
the CNC 6040 i have will cut aluminium but at a max speed of 40mm per min at a depth of 0.2mm and that is after doing all the things i had to do to get it working in my thread
how are the ball screw bearings mounted in these , are the bearings pressed into the end plates. I notice a nut on one end a a couple screws with washers holding the bearing in on the opposite side. Is there a detailed drawing on this assembly? I like the idea of not using any bearing housings......looking to cut corner on a unit I'm building.....what bearings are they using? Could someone do a quick sketch of it, I'd really appreciate it.
