Typical feedrate old machine (router to plasma converting)

I have the possibility to buy an old big professional router and i'm thinking of the possibillity to rebuild this to a plasma cutting machine.

Do you think it's a good idea?

I don't now anything about max feed rate, and that is a critical factor for plasma cutting.

Can anyone give me a guess of maximum feed rate for a milling machine of this size / year?
