Hello, I am new to the cnc world, all the rest of my machinery is "traditional" and am the nearly proud owner of a wadkin UX, 4 routing heads and 4 drills. I have been using it by programming g codes and have now bought curvecut cam software. The only problem is that I need the correct post processor for it. I have one for a 2 head machine and from what I have read, it can be edited to suit my machine but I think this will be out of my league, I struggled with setting up and using a hypertiminal but have finally got to the stage where I can save programmes to pc and load into machine.(even though it is gibberish)Has anyone got the correct post?

PS.I found an ex wadkin employee that used to commision the machines and then teach operators programming on cc100 and num control systems. He also worked for planit on the help desk for alphacams cabinet software. He came to me for a day and so many things became clear, he knows his stuff, he is well worth the money....Norman Crofton...07954 785659.. |
