Hi all, I Recently purchased a MDL-2-TR-UN desktop cnc router........
All I can say is "Top quality"
1. On time delivery
2. Top quality packing
3. I was expecting a kit, however the machine was supplied assembled, this left me a whole weekend to play....
4 I'll add more when I purchase the controller and spindle.

we also have a MDL Desktop CNC machine. Our choice was the adjustable trapezoidal nut version. This is a clever idea, in fact the whole machine is a very clever use of standard aluminium sections.
Our delivery was also good, the carton and packing protected the goods when we assembled the modular X, Y, Z axis we had a very professional machine, we connected the motors and within 30 minits we had the machine working. I must say again this is a quality machine, good value for money. Everything was supplied, for me the basic Proxxon may be a little small, I think we will upgrade to the Kress, but I see worldofcnc have the Kress and its mount in stock. I'll add this next week then post some more!

To all those fellow cnc types....do not under estimate this machine.

PS there are other upgrades including hiwin rails and ballscrew versions

I purchased one of our own MDL Ballscrew desktop machines for a local school. For machining brass blocks/dies in a hot foil blocking machine. We supplied the machine as a 3 axis kit, as it is very easy to assemble, the Kress router is a great tool! this version has all 3 axis assembled with ballscrew and Hiwin rails and carriages, making this a very robust machine.

Note: We supply with the kit a very good CD with links to many CNC websites including this great site "CNCZONE.COM"
