 Morbidelli sizing error | |
I am having problems sizing Morbidelli CNC Router (U550). It sizes X & Y axis OK but fails on the Z axis. There has been a history of z axis sizing failures, followed by a series of successes, then followed by another series of failures.
I believed there wered some issues with limit switches sticking, but after dissassemby & refitting I achieved a successfull size. I then did some adjustment of the cams which operate the switches and now cannot size successfully in the z axis. The poitions of the cams appear to be logically where they should be, but I am unsure.
I am unsure if problem lies with cam positions, z axis parameters or elsewhere (perhaps with z axis servo motor opticals).
Explanation of the interaction of various z axis parameters & how the limit switches and their cams operate would be a great help. The manuals are of little help. Maybe the problem does lie in the z axis servo motor optical sensor.
Any help would be appreciated. |
