I'm sure some of you will cheer, but I hope none of you were waiting on anything from them.

Their website now reads:

Now I know why they haven't answered my recent emails or phone calls. Not that they were ever very good about that anyway.

Glad they got a new x-axis out to us recently. Here's a video I took of my operator rocking the old one back & forth. Mind you we ran it for over a year like this & cut a lot of ugly parts with it.

i saw something in print or in advertising about being under new management and the new name was to better serve thier customers

They didn't come right out and say it, but I got the impression that PAE, Inc. is PracticalCNC. My first clue was when the return call was from Hiro, who I've talked to at Practical previously.

I ordered a pile of belts, gears, etc. from them just in case they don't last under this company name.

While they seemed a little more enthusiastic with the "new" company, some of my gears still came in the wrong size. :-/
