What do you think the best desktop unit is for around $2500 US? Not looking for industrial quality, just hobby.

The base HS1 comes in at about that price range. IMO a great desktop router. It would be easy to add the other options that Ron offers later on if desired.

1800 for a glorified dremel... I don't think so.

I am going Romaxx at the moment, I just didn't want say which way I was leaning. Glad to get some confirmation.

Any other suggestions?
