Biesse , Rover 321R

Hi All, Anyone has manuals of this machine?
Its A Biesse Rover 321R . Is a point to point and I want to change to newer program.

i have manuals but only in paper format. they are all available to order from biesse.
by newer program what do you mean?
the 321 is a very capable machine if programmed correctly.

Hi, luis,
I have the same problem.
If you would find a solution please let me know.
I have a Biesse Roover 322.
I'd like to run the machine with the V-carve of Aspire. Software from Vectric, but I cannot seem to find a way to communicate with my machine.
It has a floppy-drive, but it isn't FAT formated.
I have some serial ports, but don't seem to find how to manipulate them...
did you already find something ...

Hi all,

Now we have a Rover 321R(NC481- 1997), but now it alarms "av20 s011 i055 ". So we need to re-format and restore the back up files.
But now our back up floppy disk failed, so can not restore this machine.
Anyone has back up disk of this machine(a generic RV321R data disk) ?
Please help us. Thanks

We have a Rover 322 but the same NC481.
I have the boot disk...

Thanks for your reply, our boot disk remain work.
Because last time back up battery inside the CNI control is empty. So machine has lost the data. So we need a back up disk(a generic RV321R data disk) to restore it.
Now it alarms "av20 s011 i055 "

Hello,

I don't understand what you mean with backup disk.
Normaly the D:\ drive is the diskettedrive and this is only for programs you wrote,but hase nothing to do with the working of the machine.
Of course, if the directory is set on the RC481 to look for programs on the D:\ drive and there is nog diskette, it will give you an error.
you can change the directory from D:\ to C:\ and the error will be gone....
do you know how to change directorys on the RC481 ?

the d drive and c drives are both ram drives
d stores fixed cycles, c stores programs (both will be lost if battery died)
the floppys will be drives a and b

i have 321r atc boot disk.
if battery was flat you require all other backup disks too including language disk. these are machine specific.
does your machine have tool changer?
you should be able to get these from biesse by quoting machine serial number

BUT WE CAN SAVE PROGRAMAS ALSO MACHINE DATA , WE NEED TO LOAD PARAMETERS AND DE DISK A AND DISK B SAY NO DISK, UNFORMAT .

I NEED TO LOAD BUT WE CAN NOT BECAUSE DISK NO READ. SOMEBODY CAN WE HELP US?
