Is the romaxx capable of cutting 1/8" aluminum, I don't mind if it's slow. |

| The mastersCNC is made of HDPE and is very well built. It is not made out of particle board as KustomKoncepts suggests (did you even READ the link?) I bought one and I don't regret it. I use it to cut brass, aluminum, and to do wood engravings using VCarve and 3DMachinist. Entry level? Yep. Underpowered? Yep. The thing is substantially cheaper than other options and is certainly less hassle than building your own. |

| I'm looking for entry level, I'm starting something and I don't want a high entry level cost, the pieces I cut never exceed 24"s. I cut mainly parts from polycarbonate and some aluminum. The aluminum is very simple cuts, straight and fluid curves with holes drilled. If this works out I would like to get a larger Router for other jobs and even later a CNC mill and lathe, but that's way down the line. I need to get my feet wet first before I spend serious money. I was hoping someone either had the Masters machine or could look over the listing and let me know their opinions. I do appreciate the links and will look into the Romaxx, it appears to be very nice. Thanks hualon I appreciate the input and I knew it wasn't particle board, I just choose to ignore that post. |
