Hi all. Just joined and submited a post in the Introduction thread at the club house. And yes I have a question. Since the ANDI 18 machine I am useing just came with limited G-Code package there are no drill cycles. I want to write MACRO to drill 7/16 holes in 3" Maple. Useing 4" drill bit. Any advice on tool path; feed rates; and spindel speeds? Right now useing... S4 F80. in steps Z-.625 Back up 100/1000's at 20 IPM and then 80 IPM to surface. Repeat another .625 in depth. This works fine. However sreaches some thing awfull. any sugestions? |
