MotionTek CNC Machines - E36

Hi, this is my first post on CNCZone -- so go easy on the newbie

I am looking at acquiring a CNC Router for making guitar parts (wood). Here is a machine that has caught my eye made by designed by and built for a company called MotionTek in Toronto, Canada http://www.motiontek.ca/E36.html

Are any of you forum members familiar with MotionTek? If so, would you recommend their machines for entry level folks?

I too am from Toronto and was going to see if anyone had used the Motiontek router products. For another thread, it looks like Motiontek purchases the stuff from China that is the machine from

someone to go see first hand there operation, machines in stock or in shops in your area get photos for all of us

I have contact names of two people here in Toronto that have them. I will likely see them this week.

we have worked hard to give any machine a good rapport here but it takes the legitimacy of the end user to see it.

i wouldn't buy one they are china based and expensive ,i tried to see one and purchase one but they kept putting me off .
I finally just gave up

well it was a difficult process but a lot of cnc suppliers are not solid ,in other words you say I'll come down and have a look, well they don't want that and then there are many reasons .Then as your interest peaks so does the pricing all of a sudden the basic one is now you should be getting this or that ,its like they are selling an idea.
I finally bought (ist choice was shop bot ) a gorilla cnc out of london ontario (2hours from my shop) a 4x8 model w/router.I have had it 17 days and so far things are ok .

I have seen, and spoke with the guy from Motion teck, I have built a data cut machine, and looking for the stepper motors and controls, His kits look ok , and I have seen the stepper motors he has to offer. For the price I think his kits are good < I was going to make an order this week.

get a digital camera take photos of machine im shop and upload to a picrure file on computer (google give away piccassa for free and it is excellent for photos) when you reply to thread sscroll down and click "manage attachments" upload photos ask moderator for help if you need it jim
