SCM Routron 921 w Bosch CC100, spindle don't start.

Hi!
A friend of mine bought a SCM Routron with the Bosch CC100 controller.

Everything works except starting the spindle... We have tried to troubleshoot but found nothing wrong...

We can send the spindle start gcode and the controller takes the command without error, but no spinneing spindle.

Is there any obvious things we might have missed? We are no pro's on this, so all help is appreciated.

Hello there, did you ever find a solution to starting the SCM Routron? I am in exactly the same position now!

EDIT:
With GREAT THANKS to a Jonathan Frost, he has provided me with certain codes for the SCM Routron w/ Bosch CC100 controller. I was missing (in particular) the spindle speed setting before the start code - which Jonathan had also given me previously.

I thought these might be useful to others too. If anybody else has any codes they can add to this, it would be useful to have the information all together in one place (i.e. on this forum) for those (like myself) who don't have the original SCM Routron manual.

Start programs as follows:

N0 (resets to start point)
G90 (sets start position) - I think
F3000 (set feed rate)
T01 (tool option)

Then use:
m60 (12000 rpm) or m61 (18000rpm) for spindle speed selection.
m23 for start spindle.


m70 spindle down (lower)
m71 m72 m73 m74 depth of cut z axis
m80 spindle up (raise)

m50 stop spindle.

m30 to end program.
