Hey All, I am pretty new to CNC machining and the website, but I have recently purchased a 1989 SCMI Routomat. It seems like a good old heavy duty machine, but I am constantly tracking down problems. I was wondering if anyone out their was familier with this type of machine or even this era of machine as I need someone to bounce troubleshooting ideas off when I get stuck. Right now my spindles won't start. Had run fifty parts perfectly, than all of a sudden the spindle won't start and sends me an error, obviously stopping the program. I am looking at the wiring but think it might be as simple as a sensor someplace. Thanks for any help. |
