| Do the commercial CNC's (shop sabre, techno, etc.) use the 5 speed porter cable router or the standard model? I am buying a 3.25HP PC router for shop use now, however I would also like it to be a backup for the CNC I plan on buying in the coming months. I know this is a simple question, but it is Saturday and the manufactures are not taking calls. Thanks for helping, SCT |

| The 5 speed is a much better option. You can adjust for different feedrates, and use much larger tools than you can with a single speed router. I use my 7518 for table and handheld use, and never use the highest speeds.
