| Hi all, I look after a couple of older Biesse machines which run using XNC. They are pre wondows type, a Rover 30 and a Rover 336. I am trying to find a software system that will enable me to convert fonts to programmable code (Biesse run G code?) so I can rout a font into MDF to show relief. I am also looking for software that will enable me to convert CAD &/or PDF files to machine code, at the moment I have to work point to point which is taking forever! I am new to this forum and would appreciate any help / advice that you can give. Many thanks Mike |

| Mike, If the machines are using the XNC software, when the editor software was loaded on a remote PC during installation , if purchased you would have the Cam3 module which would allow you to post code from .dxf, .dwg, etc. If you are unsure or want to discuss further there are multiple options for you...email me at ntek1@aol.com , I work on biesse machines regularly (www.cnccustomservices.com) and worked as a service tech for Biesse for 3 years. Do you think that CAM3 is good product? I think it is usable only for very simple programs. I try to create programs with Camline now it`s renamed to Camlink (Acston), but they have problems with postprocessor for Biesse Rover 22. I can`t contact acston, looks like bankrupt (web is DOWN, phone and e-mail without answer) May be somebody have realy working machine config file for Camline v7.18. |
