    Hi,

I use a CNC machine at work. Here are the specs:

    Biesse Rover B 7.40 FT
    Bed size 5 x 12'
I use a 19mm sheet of MDF as the sacrificial table
It uses a vacuum to hold pieces in place

The software I use is Biesseworks v2.2

The machine is fairly new for the company, as am I. I have been working with it for about 6 months, and I am self taught. So it has been a long road of trial and error in learning to use this CNC.

I am looking forward to learning more through the forums.

    Hello CNCJohnny,

You started out on a nice machine and the good thing about learning through T&E is it stays with you. That and you most likely learn tricks and methods you otherwise wouldn't have.

    Have a good one.

    Hi CNCjohnny,

what type of parts are you using the CNC for? I am looking for someone who knows biesseworks pretty good. We just got ours setup but did not go for the training all the way. I need to make the purchase for the cabinetvision but until then, I was hoping to be able to work my way through biesseworks. anyone out there that can help?thanks.
