    Craftsman CNC router/cutter

    has anyone seen this unit in person?

    I just saw it in the mail flyer the other day, Wonder if it will work with any other software?

    It's OK.. definetly a great hobby tool but way too restrictive. You have to use their software and it has it's limitations.. not to mention I think the maximum cut width is 15" but they claim almost unlimited length..

    That looks pretty cool. IF the software can handle importing images into its library then it might be worth looking into.

    Looks like a Photocarver. How would you do 3-D with it, I wonder?
    Still worth investigating.
