HIYA GANG- Im the new guy and this is my first post. I want to get into 3D CNC Routing (mainly wood to start) of logos; plaques; etc. and was directed to this site with my questions. I am looking for a cheap system to start with and software like BobCad. I'd like to get some opinions, suggestions; and tech help on what to buy. Thanks. Turntool |

| Hi Turntool, You might consider looking at VCarve Pro which is an all round CNC Routing and Wood carving program that does a great job of signs and logos. There a Free Fully working Trial version that you can experiment with while you get the CNC machine sorted out. See > Vectric web site There's also a dedicated VCarve thread on CNCZone that will give you a feel for what other members are using the software for. See > VCarve Posts I hope this might help, Tony |

| Tony Mac is right. Vcarve is your best bet for the type of work you are describing. Heed the warnings you read about Bobcad on this and other forums. I am one of many in a long line of people unhappy with their Bobcad software. |

Everything on this site is from bobcad/cam software very user friendly and tech support could not be better. Remember you only get what you pay for buy nice or buy twice! Good luck ! Troy S Mariotti
