MaxNC?

Has anyone had any experience with the MaxNC Maxpath 42 CNC router?

I'm looking for a machine approx. 2x3 feet cutting area for contouring some panels that will be used for vacuum forming. Any recommendations for a good machine in the $5K range is appreciated.
