    SCM Record 120 Lubrication

    Hello,

    recently acquired a record 120 and just getting to grips with the machine. Have just seen a message saying lubricate cycle. have tried to pump the grease in but wont have it. Also tried M198 as a command in the MDI to set off this cyle but nothing seems to work. Anyone any ideas please?

    hello i think u have a problem with your lubrication sysem check grease pipe for leakage, if leaking i think u have solid grease inside the pipe, take out the pipes and clean also clean the grease receptor for all the axis i think blocked with solid grease

    Check operation of system

    Record 120 normally has two distribution blocks, one on the x axis and one for the yz axes. I would suggest you remove the main black pipe at different point to check the flow. It may be a non return valve stuck, or one of the shuttle valves in the distribution block. The valves should shuttle left ab
    Nd right dosing grease to the individual 4mm pipes.
