    Quintax with Fagor 8055

I'm in Akron Ohio and I need to find someone who is experienced in diagnosing and repairing Quintax routers. The factory is right up the road, but they only have one guy who can service the routers and he's on the road a lot. Machine is down and I really need to get someone in here to fix it.

Ossito, never did find a repair person. Got some help from the factory, had to replace another Kollmorgen drive.

I've got a persistent problem with the X-Axis vibrating and leaving a horrible finish. It's almost to the point of being unusable. Any ideas?

Mostly router plastic sheets on machine which never presents a problem, also will mill 6061 from time to time but I slow machine down as well as take small depth passes, about .020-.025". I have also cut various types of wood as well.

Only time I got any vibration was when the feed speeds were too high for a given length of tool. Any tool length over 5" is very difficult and slow. My spindle is only an ISO30.

    What material are you cutting?
