i have always been impressed by the romaxx, machines at this level can be quite a delusion, the stinger and the romaxx are not in the catagorey, i also cannot speak for the romax as i have never seen one and out of 5 cnc machines i have had three have and or are camasters. i had mach three on one machine yet switched it to the wincnc controller fot the reasons of look ahead pulse and with the daughter board i can wok online and be diagnosed in minutes with wincnc ( i am a commercial woodworker) i am no fan of v bearings on an axis had them once had to adjust them too often so no more of that. i have the larger x3 camaster and a stinger both perform as expected and as accurate. my work on my website was all primarily done on my X3. i believe the stinger is a larger footprint and less expensive than the romaxx but it has been a while since i looked at the specs, i will say i have done filework with people who own the romaxx and they all have been pleased.
