i would suggest you do a search of vortech on cnc zone and read all post, there are plenty of good reputable machine companies here.

I have been a CNC machinist for the last 18 years but have never run a CNC Router.
I am thinking about starting an engraving business and was looking at possibly purchasing a Vortech CNC router. I am looking at the 4X4 machine and looking at running with Bobcad (which I already have experience with) or possibly Vcarve art.
Any input on this machine or this setup would be appreciated

Any machines around North central Nebraska or Sothern South Dakota?
Would love to get a look at one but getting away can be trouble right now.
Looked at the Shop Saber and the Camaster. liked both but it looks like the Camaster stinger might be in my price range and be a machine that I could get a solid start with.
stingers are all over now, join up at the camheads and ask !

Went to the camheads and looked at there map. NOTHING even close.Been talking to the local lumber yards and no one knows of a CNC router in this area. Looks like this might be the buisness to get into.
I did look into a DIY router but by the time I purchase the parts and figure my time to build it the cost would be getting up around a camaster stinger any way. (yes I figure in my $$ per hour becase the boss would let me work the same hours)
I will be building the shop to put a router and the suport equpment (most of it in my farm shop right now) into this summer. As soon as the ground thaws I have ordered the dirt to build up the sight on my farm.I am planning a 20x24' building for strictly woodworking. Hopfully I can build this buisness up to the point that I don't have to work 90 miles from were I live to make a living.![]()
