    feed speeds cnc shark

I have a cnc shark that I use for wood work. Where can I get information on the best feed speeds and other setting for the different bits?

Usually from the manufacturer. But if you're using standard carbide tipped woodworking bits, that info typically is not available.

Bits have an ideal chip load, which is the amount of material each flute removes.
Router Bits, Cutting Tools & Drilling Tools | Onsrud.com | LMT Onsrud has chip load charts for all their tools, and for many different materials. If you have a similar tool to an onsrud tool, you can usually use that as a starting point.

Keep in mind that a small machine like the Shark may not be able to cut at the recommended chip load, so you'll need to adjust as necessary.
