I am trying to get a g-code file generated in ArtCamPro to run directly to a Biesse Rover ( 24 I think) bypassing Biesseworks. So far I can get 3D elements milled no problem, but the instant the code goes to a 2d shape a "radius too small" error puts a halt on everything.
My code extention is .anc and that seems ok.
Here's a few key bits of info:
Biesse is mm but all of our tooling / programming is in inches.
We had scale issues but that was solved recently.
the code is based with the zero level at the bottom of the material ( I'm used to the top) That said, another problem I'm having is that when the program starts at the origin ( upper left corner ) the bit is driven to 0,0,0 and then the bit travels to it's starting point. the bit doesnt lift first to clearance level, it will slowly rise to it's starting height(z) ACROSS the material, basically ruining it.
What am I missing in the post processor to give the Z a safe travel height, THEN start it's milling.

How can i do the Rover work directly with ArtCam 2008 pro?
