Multicam 3000 not communicating

out of nowhere my machine cant talk to my PC. The communication manager says there is no problem and I can send a job from the PC to the router but I cant see any jobs from the router end.

Could this be a network card issue? it seems to be sending and receiving packets so it should be working.

Which program to you use to communicate
PSS
Suite 4

if you have PSS, right click on the Jobserver Icon, go to Program Settings and check to see if your file extentions in the boxes. File extentions should be
Hpgl PLT
CNC anc cnc
Native ucj uc
Binary bin

if everything is there click the settings box and make sure it reads; c:/DNC or where ever your machine files are located.

If everything is ok in those boxes....right click on the jobserver icon again, click on DNC and make sure the it reads c:/DNC or where ever your DNC files are located..


In suite 4, right click on the suite 4 icon, goto settings and click onthe job folder tab and the root folder you should have c:/dnc in the box.

What software handles the communications? Is it communicating over ethernet?

I use Suite 4 and after I went through everything again it worked even though I did not make any changes so either its an intermittent issue or ?
