    Vacuum or Blower

We have a 40hp Kaeser vacuum pump at the moment running 1-5x12 table and 1-5x10. When we got both machines running one will error out. So I talked to a salesmen about switching to a blower instead of a vacuum. Just wondering if anyone else has any experience with blowers. Were looking at a Kaeser Blower too.

    Thanks,
    JD

Going from a vacuum pump to a blower is a step backwards.A Kaeser 40HP can pull 29"Hg
at 535 ACFM which is about 15psi negative pressure. The best their blowers can do is 15Hg which is about 7psi negative pressure.Ask about adding a vacuum storage tank or reducing your feed rate and saving 20 or 30 grand.Larry
