After seeing lots of great DIY 3d printer projects here, I though I'd share mine as well. It will be open source, and as soon as I clean up my CAD models I'll have everything online for download. In the mean time I hope you all enjoy the fruits of my (and my brother's) labor. This printer was designed from the ground up and machined by myself. Features include:
- integrated limit switches
- AC mains heat bed
- 24Vdc nozzle heater
- linear ball bearing slides on all axis
- double lead screw design for the Z axis table
- mic6 build platform
- Rambo 1.1b board running Marlin
- LED build platform lighting
- and of course the cool LCD display!

It also has provisions for a second print head and an auto leveling sensor, but I haven't fabricated the parts yet.

I'll be happy to add a bunch more build photos if anyone is interested.
