Default Etching 10 Gauge Aluminum with a Mazak U44 SpaceGear

    Hi everyone,

I would like to use a Mazak U44 SpaceGear laser to etch a logo on a sheet of 10 gauge 6061-T6 aluminum. I have a pdf that lists cutting conditions for various materials and thicknesses, but there is no information listed for etching. Do you have any advice about the cutting conditions (power, frequency, duty, feedrate, etc.) that I should use for this etch? I would like the etch to be decently deep (i.e., deeper than a scratch on the metal).
