Not familiar with Masterwork, but it's usually done by putting the information in the layer name.

Hi ,
do you know ?
How to prepare a dxf file with predefined manufacturing operation to open masterwork?
How to select values such as cutter tool selection, hole depth in dxf file?
Is there any guide about this .
Thanks.

I found some that specific layer names :
for drill operations -> BACK , FRONT, LEFT, RIGHT, TOP,
for saw operation -> SAW
for milling operation-> TOOL$41_1$L -> I gues 'L' char is tool compansation ileft of the contour.
But, this not give information about Depth of drilling or milling , or other values.
What could these parameters be?
Hi finaly I found this table. in source Masterword working directory ( EN - Working with DXF.doc), partly solved the problem .
Panel Dimetion - PANEL
Vertical Driling - TOP[$Fn]
Horizontal Drillings on Left Side - LEFT[$Fn]
Horizontal Drillings on Front Side -FRONT[$Fn]
Horizontal Drillings on Right Side - RIGHT[$Fn]
Horizontal Drillings on Rear Side - REAR[$Fn]
Indexed Horizontal Drillings - INDEX[$TOOL_NAME][$Fn]
Saw Blade Cuts - SAW[$Fn][$En]
Routing Operations - TOOL$TOOL_NAME[$R;$L][$Fn][$En][$Sn]
Also "4) The information about the Z-axis (panel thickness, working depth on top side and horizontal drilling Z position) is contained into various entities “thickness” parameter."
