Default Possibly X or Y axis off by 0.2mm

    Hello,

I'm making a model parts and overall good result. Because this is my first time to 3D machining 2 sided. Also have issue with the model parts, when repeating coordinates it's off by 0.2mm.
If you see closely there is a line, the green arrow is starting point of the 0.2mm off. The Blue arrow is the 0.2mm off, it's not even. The aother walls with the same angle have the same issue.
    Here is a picture :

What makes this to happened? And how to fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

Check for backlash on your axis using a dial indicator.

What you do is move your spindle to somewhere on your table where you can move in the X or Y say 12" For you will zero the DRO for X,Y then you need a dial indicator. You make sure there is some pressure on the dial indicator and set the pointer on the indicator to zero. Now move the spindle one axis at a time something like the following commands:

    G1 X12 F50
    G1 X0 F50

You have the indicator pointing at zero before the move to X=12 inches. Then you execute the second command, and it should return to where you started. Now if you have no backlash the dial indicator should return to zero. Do the exact same test for the Y axis. In both cases you should be able to return to the start position exactly. If not you have backlash and you can see how much by how far you missed the target.
