CNC Router Parts Pro series. $10K is a pretty low number for what you want.

When you add electronics and spindle, it should be pretty close to $10K
Hello All,
I am looking for any recommendations for a 4' X 8' CNC router for our High School theater department, the budget is $10,000.00 to be up and running. We are looking for 4' X 8' router without a vacuum table that runs on 120 volt or 240 single phase and I prefer to stay away from a liquid cooled spindle, the router would not see more than 100 hours of use a year. The only thing for sure so far is will be be getting RhinoCam and Aspire.
I've been looking at the Gryphon CNC only because I looks like I could add a rotary axis to it fairly easily but it is very light machine, I'm thinking there has to be something out there in my price range that runs on linear bearings. I don't mind a kit router I just don't have time to build one from scratch.
Your help in this matter is greatly appreciated,
Bruce

Can we ask what kind of materials you want work with the machine sir? because CNC machines` price varies depending on what task you want with the machine. is time not an issue? because you can buy a 4X8 cnc machine under $5K but a bit slower in motion due to smaller NEMA kits.
99% of the material we cut it 1/4", 1/2", 3/4" plywood and 2" foam.
Time is really not an issue, we always have a few months to get thing cut, right now we are able to use a local companies router but only when and if its available. I should take back the 100 hours of use, if we have our own router I can see us cutting a lot more 3D carvings in 4' X 8' sheets of foam. We don't need nor can afford a ATC but it would be nice if we could at least do manual tool changes.
KHOUJ, what is this $5k machine you are talking about?
Thanks
Get 4 of this and hire me as your technical support/ installer/ technician/ programmer/ operator, You can start your product mass production in minutes, I can operate as much as 4 CNC units at the same time and more than happy to have $10/hour, no joke sir , I presume your products are basically just outlining jobs on wood.
With a 3.2KW spindle on a 4X8 table I think you can mass produce tank parts on this hehe
