Is there a machine like the CNCRP benchtop pro, but a little smaller and cheaper?
Hi all,
Im looking to purchase a CNC router and I really like the CNCRP benchtop pro. I'm not necessary looking for a turnkey out of the box system, but I do want something thats plug and play.
What I like about the BT pro:
linear rails
ballscrews on all four axis
dual driven gantry
plug and play motors, electronics and accessories (z access plate, limit switches)
What I dont like
the price
the size
It has a work area of 25" x 25". optioned out with the 2.2kw spindle, its around $8000. Thats a lot for a small CNC router, although it does seem to be a very robust system
For the parts I make, I really dont need that much work area, nor do i want to take up that much space in my shop. I'm wondering if theres a similarly robust plug and play system out there, that has maybe 12x12 or 18x18 work area, and comes in a little cheaper. I dont mind china stuff if its from a reputable source and is good quality
If not, I may just buy a taig
