    Default Information needed servo motors

I would.like to know how to size servo motor watts for a cnc router.

    I have a cnc router 1.5 x 3 meter.
X y z all exis delta 400 watts servo motors.

Hsd spindle atc 9 kw. The weight is 27 kg.

Question is the 400 watts servo motor is enough to carry the spindle weight and work in 3d carving jobs.

Also 400 watts on x and y enough for work.

    And the other
My work is cutting small complex shapes and 3d carving.

    Thank u.

Most non chinese servo manufacturers have software to calculate motor sizing.

To calculate the motor size, you have to know how much weight each motor will move, what the gearing is for each axis, and how fast you want to move and accelerate.

If I had to guess, I would think you would want 1Kw or larger motors on a machine that size.

    Thank u for the reply.

The machine i have is techno hds cnc router.
400 watts servo on all exis.
So the z exis motor move the weight 27 kg.
How to calculate the watts required.

I wish to cut 18mm mdf in one pass with 4 mm endmill.

I saw some multicame machine specifications mentioned 3500 inch per min.

Hmm a question is in my mind and i think u are the best to ask.

    1.5 x 3 meters.
Xyz all exis 400 watts delta servo motors.
Fixed with shimpo japan reducer gear on y and x exis.
Hsd 929 atc spindle the weight is about 27 kg.

The 400 watts z exis motor enough to carry the spindle weight and work.

Question is the 400 watts servo motors enough power to work? Like cutting wood mdf 3d carving cutting aluminum.

Second is z exis when moving the spindle up make zzummmmm zummm sound.
    Is it normal?

The machine is working from 4 months.
we also check the temprature of the all exis servo motors after working about 4 hours with an ir temprature gun.

    X , y 40 celsius and z 45 Celsius.

    Kindly give ur suggestion

    Thank u.
