Need Help!- Colchester 2000 CNC soft limits

first post on here. We have recently bought a Colchester 2000 CNC lathe with the fanuc ot controller. when we brought the machine it had alarms 310 and 320 REQUEST FOR REFERENCE POSITION RETURN we have now managed to clear these but now have two new overtravel alarms. thing is they are less than halfway through the axis travels. we have tried the p/can trick and the lathe is fully functional accept you can overtravel it!

we have tried to reset the soft limits which works until the machine is turned off then reverts back to origional problem! we know someone had a play with the machine to sort the 310 and 320 alarms before sale but fear they have altered a perameter that we do not know about.we have replaced all he memory batteries wilst the machine was on.

any help would be much appreciated even a complete factory perameter list mite help so we can look for any errors.
