    HEAD STOCK LUBRICATION LOSS

    hi all
    i have an alarm no 1038 (head stock lubrication loss)
    the machine is
    ALPHA 1400 XS 600 Group

    The controller: COLCHESTER –HARRISON GE Fanuc ALPHA X Series
    i checked the oil level in the tank for slides lub and it's full
    also the oil level in the gear box is full
    nothing helps in the manual
    thanx in advance for any help

    chances are that you moved the machine recently and you need to change the two phases in order to correct the phase .
    I f you open the back you will see two hoses going to the spindle the big hose is the return and the small hose goes through a filter and supplies oil to the spindle bearings
