    HUGE PROBLEMS!!

Unfortunately the majority of the threads in this section are preceeded by "Need Help!"...

I just took control of a shop that let a Tornado T8MS sit for 4 years, brand new never ran! I was getting a the 300 and 306 error codes... so I replaced the servo batteries. Now I am still getting same dang codes! What gives? What do I need to do now?

I have gone through and tried to reset the parameters based on what Clausing sent me instructions on but no luck...

    HELP!!!

    Good Morning,

Can let me know the exact alarms you are seeing (ie which axes they refer to) and the location of the batteries that you have changed please?

Once we've got rid of the 306 alarms then you will need to re-reference the appropriate axes. If you send me you email address I will send them over.

    Ian,

I got rid of the 306 codes, still had the 300's. We went by the manual and tried to reference the axis... In that effort, we kept getting an x axis overtravel error, so one of my guys erased all parameters...

now I am getting the following codes:

    1027 Drive overload Q3 circuit
    1034 D212 Data Error
    1035 D214 " " "
    1036 D216 " " "
    417 Servo Alarm Z
    417 Servo Alarm A

I am stuck now with an Emergency stop error that will not allow me to do any MDI functions, it will not turn the pump on, none of the axes will travel and to top it all off, I am in Okinawa Japan, with the time difference and no international calls from work, I am stuck researching, and asking for help from home at night. This in turn causes me to get advice, then take that in the next morning to attempt to fix, if that doesn't work, I have to wait another day to attempt something new.

My e-mail is jonesfox31@gmail.com (home) and robert.b.jones5@usmc.mil (work) please send what you have to both so I can have it either place.

    Thanks again for your assistance!

    Brad

    Hi Brad,

Yes it seems like your parameters are corrupt and should be re-installed in full. I have sent you an email detailing how to obtain these.
