    Default 307 APC ALARM X AXIS BATTERY DOWN1

    HELO EVERYBODY,
    WE HAVE A COLCHESTER TORNADO LATHE WITH FANUC21i.
    THE DISPLAY UNIT AND THE MAIN BATTERY REPLACED 5 MONTHS AGO.BUT TODAY IT SHOWS THE
    ALARM ,307 APC ALARM X AXIS BATTERY DOWN1 AND 307 APC ALARM Z AXIS BATTERY DOWN1.
    CAN ANYBODY EXPLAIN THE REASON WHY?

    no response after viewed by 61 pair of eyes.no issues.

    if the battery is the problem i gonna change it.

    what are all the precautions to be taken before doing so.?

    how to set origin to zero?(some one tells that is must)

    could anybody reply here?

    waiting for suggestions......

    Good Morning,

    The 307 alarm means that the servo battery located on the Fanuc servo drive in the electrical cabinet needs to be replaced. If this change is carried out by a qualified electrician with the servo drives energised then the reference positions will not be lost. If you do encounter 300 alarms following battery change then you must reference the axes. If you can let us knwo the type of machine and an email address we can provide appropriate procedures.

    THE BATTERY HAS BEEN REPLACED BY A QUALIFIED PERSON.THE ALARM WENT OFF.NO REFERENCE POINT CHANGED.EVERY THING IS OK NOW.M/C RUNNING SMOOTHLY.

    Default 307 Alarm on Doosan 280L

    Where is the battery that needs to be replaced on the Doosan 280L with 21iT control?
    The alarm id the 307 APC Alarm for both X and Z axis.
